Well-tempered Tuning is owned and
operated by Greg Arnold and Genevieve Baglio. Greg and
Genevieve met at Whitman College where both received a
BA in music. Genevieve moved on to pursue her Master's
degree in opera performance from the Boston Conservatory
of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. It was there, in
Boston, that Greg was able to secure a competitive
apprenticeship with Pianoforte Inc., a company under
exclusive contract with the Berklee College of Music.
Working among several of the most accomplished piano
technicians in the country Greg was responsible for the
tuning, repair, and regulation of hundreds of pianos, in
dormitories, practice rooms, classrooms, and studios.
During his time in Boston he was able to observe and
eventually master the many facets of piano maintenance
within the school, home, and concert settings.
It is with great enthusiasm that Greg
applies this same commitment to excellence to his
businesses in Walla Walla. By sharing his
passion for music he hopes to inspire his students and
clients to always keep music in their lives. |
